Lots of Tottenham fans have been reacting to a major injury update from the club’s official Twitter account, and they want Paulo Gazzaniga to start in place of the injured Hugo Lloris.

Tottenham will welcome Liverpool to Wembley on Saturday without two key players, as both Lloris and Dele Alli have been officially ruled out.

Alli suffered an injury on England duty, and is expected to return fairly soon as he nurses a hamstring problem.

Lloris’ injury could be a bit more serious, as the club captain missed the defeat at Watford with a leg injury and is now set to miss “several weeks”, according to the club statement.

Whoever is in goal will no doubt be busy when Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool come to town, and fans are all hoping it will be Gazzaniga that gets the nod.

Michel Vorm is usually the second choice, but the Dutchman is yet to fully convince fans in North London, and they think it could be a huge mistake from Mauricio Pochettino to play him against Liverpool.
