Gaetano Berardi is expected to return to action for Leeds this weekend, but a whopping 76 per cent of fans think they must still sign a new centre-back in January.
Leeds were absolutely flying after a few games under Marcelo Bielsa, but a spate of first-team injuries has just slowed their progress a little.
The Whites still sit third with just one defeat in 12 league games, but injuries to the likes of Berardi, Kemar Roofe and Pablo Hernandez certainly hit them hard, and fans have identified an area they must improve in January.

Plenty of fans felt they needed another centre back during the summer transfer window, and while all three of their current senior centre-backs have been greatly improved this season, they also all have a tendency to pick up little injuries throughout the year.
Bielsa’s side will score goals for fun once Hernandez’s creativity and Roofe’s clinical finishing return to the side, but the defence is perhaps even more important for a promotion push, and a few injuries at the back could devastate Bielsa’s plans.
